Red Samurai armor is specially modified, modern oyoroi armor for use of Renraku's most elite units. It's polymer composited, ballistically meshed, and offers some of the best protection a shadowrunner can hope for.

• The armor also contains a fixed Mobility upgrade (2).
• The Kabuto helmet contains a rating 4 commlink (Firewall, Response, Signal, System, and Encryption (4)) and can be upgraded (hardware of 5 (+2500￥), 6 (+8500￥). Of course, they can be upgraded with sensors, too.
• The Kabuto helmet comes with a free thermographic vision enhancement.
• One (and only 1) of the helmets contained a rating 5 commlink.
• As it's military-grade armor, remember your body need only equal 1/3 of the total armor. Or bodyx3=armor, as we usually notate it.
• I'm seriously considering using the house rule of using a combination of strength and body. However, you made your characters with the book's rules in mind. Also, it's the last game for a while, so might as well go crazy(er)! 

     In my game, Red Samurai armor is custom tailored to each wearer. A skilled armorer can modify a suit so that it can be worn by a new user. For convenience, let's say Sensho helps out Mason Dixon (Mason & Dixon?), bringing the cost for labor and materials down from 2500￥ to (2500 - (Sensho's Armorer(3) + Calhoun's Negotiation(5) + MD's loyalty (2))x100) 1500￥.

     Also, each suit comes with RFID tagging, identifying the user. Thankfully, Sensho is able to destroy this on each suit.

     Finally, please note the incredible illegality of this armor. This is nothing new for us. However, Renraku will hate you. Oh noes.
